چکیده

In this article, we consider a special case of Metric-Affine f(R)-gravity for f(R) = R, i.e. the General Relativity (MAGR). As companion to first article in series, perform (3+1) decomposition hypermomentum equation, obtained from minimization MAGR action S [g, {\omega}] with respect connection {\omega}. Moreover, show that tensor H could be constructed completely 10 hypersurfaces variables arise its dilation, shear, and rotational (spin) parts. The equations consists 1 scalar, 3 vector, matrix, equation order-(2,1). Together traceless torsion constraint, consisting scalar vector obtain hypersurface equations, which are main result article. Finally, some cases MAGR, namely, zero hypermomentum, metric, torsionless cases. For vanishing retrieve metric compatibility condition framework, hence forcing affine Levi-Civita as standard Relativity.

F (r) Gravity, Torsion and Non-metricity

For both f(R) theories of gravity with an independent symmetric connection (no torsion), usually referred to as Palatini f(R) gravity theories, and for f(R) theories of gravity with torsion but no non-metricity, called U4 theories, it has been shown that the independent connection can actually be eliminated algebraically, as long as this connection does not couple to matter. Remarkably, the out...

Torsion formulation of gravity

We make it precise what it means to have a connection with torsion as solution of the Einstein equations. While locally the theory remains the same, the new formulation allows for topologies that would have been excluded in the standard formulation of gravity. In this formulation it is possible to couple arbitrary torsion to gauge fields without breaking the gauge invariance.

Poisson–Sigma Model for 2D Gravity with Non–Metricity

We present a Poisson-sigma model describing general 2D dilaton gravity with non-metricity, torsion and curvature. It involves three arbitrary functions of the dilaton field, two of which are well-known from metric compatible theories, while the third one characterizes the local strength of non-metricity. As an example we show that α corrections in 2D string theory can generate (target space) no...

Non-local low-energy effective action for gravity with torsion

In this work we calculate the low-energy effective action for gravity with torsion, obtained after the integration of scalar and fermionic matter fields, using the local momentum representation based on the Riemann normal coordinates expansion. By considering this expansion around different space-time points, we also compute the non-local terms together with the more usual divergent ones. We fi...
